Yabu: House of Katsu SM North Edsa

The food was great. Authentic Japanese restaurant. The Agedshi tofu was the best. A bit pricey but i think its reasonable. The service was also good. Kudos to the staff. I forgot to take more photos coz im busy eating and enjoying the food

Had to wait in line for outdoor seating for more than an hour even if we were next to be catered. A group of inconsiderate patrons who occupied the whole outdoor seating area just stayed there after eating, even if they knew most of the people in queue were waiting for their place outdoors as well. But the wait was worthwhile due to the excellent food and great service of the crew (offering us some drinks while we were waiting, thanks!). Katsu is consistently good, just like the last time I ate here (before the pandemic started). Will be back soon for more!

Tried other branches of Yabu but the SMNE branch is my favorite! Food is great and service is commendable. Their team is attentive to your needs and refills. Been here already many times and celebrated several life events. I do not encounter any issue every time I will dine here.

Best Yabu branch I've been to so far. The staff were very nice and attentive. Your plate isn't even empty yet and they're already asking if you want more. Very nice ambiance and the place is very clean. Food is great! The sesame sauce alone is a reason to dine. I would recommend the Lava Cake.

My baby love the refill watermelon, it was sweet. I also love the service especially the one who assisted us, Angelica. I hope that she keep up the good work!

Yabu never fails! Even after all these years I think they still serve good quality and delicious pork katsu. Its super tender and the outside crust is crispy and seasoned well. Salmon donburi was good too.

I recently dined at Yabu in SM North, and my overall experience was fantastic. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offered a delightful variety of Japanese dishes, and I couldn't resist trying their signature dishes.However, the only downside of my visit was the waiting time. It took quite a while to be seated and for our orders to arrive at the table. Despite this, the quality of the food made up for the wait. The katsu dishes were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the flavors were simply mouthwatering.The staff was attentive and courteous, which added to the overall positive impression of the restaurant. Despite the initial delay, I would definitely recommend Yabu for its delicious Japanese cuisine and cozy ambiance. Just be prepared to have a little patience during busy times.

We just visited Yabu here in SM North Edsa, The Block and today is Sunday, also Father's day but the line is not tight and long as you're willing to wait, wait for your name to be call because they will skip your name once you leave the line.I ordered Rosu, 180 grams and the price is 460. Yabu is satisfying for me because the ambiance, the food is very satisfying for me also their cleanliness. I love their cabbage with mayo, fruits, and miso soup. I advise if you're a beginner or first timer, don't order the biggest Katsu. They include service fee, and the set is only have service the drink's prizes are separated. Also don't forget to fill up their feedback form to help their improvements!
